DAF announces 117 ARW one of seven candidate locations for KC-46A Pegasus MOB 7

Birmingham’s Sumpter Smith Joint National Guard Base, home of the 117th Air Refueling Wing, was selected as one of seven locations under final consideration to base the KC-46A Pegasus aircraft by a U.S. Air Force committee.
