  • U.S. Airmen assigned to the 163d Civil Engineer Squadron, California Air National Guard, perform upgrade projects during a deployment for training (DFT) at Seward Military Resort in Seward, Alaska, Aug. 10-24, 2026. Thirty-nine Airmen across seven Air Force Specialty Codes participated in the fifth and final rotation of Civil Engineer units from across the country, conducting trenching, metal wrapping, electrical work, concrete placement and roofing across four structures.
