Nov. 12, 2023 117 ARW celebrates America’s oldest National Veterans Day Parade at its birthplace The 117th Air Refueling Wing participated in Veteran's Day events in the city of Birmingham, Alabama. In 1947 Birmingham hosted the first Veteran's Day parade in the country.
