Maj. Steen Milne assumes command of the 117th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron under the guidance of Col. Anthony Johnson, Commander of the 117th Maintenance Group, on April 9, 2016, in Birmingham, Ala. Milne started out in maintenance as an electrician and was deployed after 9/11. Several years later he was hired to be a pilot part-time and continued to work as a full-time teacher.
