Airmen Remembered During Graveside Ceremony
Members from the 117th Air Refueling Wing conduct an annual ceremony at the gravesite of Thomas “Pete” Ray as Lt. Col. Darryl Jett laid a wreath in his honor. Ray and fellow aviator Leo Baker died after the B-26 they were flying was shot down over Cuba during the Bay of Pigs invasion. Ray's body was the only one returned to the United States.
