Airman Reaches South Pole
SOUTH POLE --Senior Master Sgt. Trey Hamm arrives here at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole station in February 2014 where the temperature was minus 40 degrees Fahrenheit, with a minus 70 degree wind chill. Hamm was deployed to the National Science Foundation’s McMurdo Station in Antarctica as the Joint Ground Safety Manager for the Air Force and the Navy.
