Bay of Pigs Participants Honored During Dedication
Retired members from the 117th Air Refueling Wing who participated in the Bay of Pigs invasion are honored during a nose art dedication for the Alabama Air National Guardsmen who were shot down and killed during the invasion. They are a few of the last surviving participants of the secret operation that cost the lives of Thomas Pete Ray, Riley Shamburger, Leo Baker and Wade Gray.
